Van Runs Stop Light, Kills Two

An accident at a Highway 12 intersection has left two people dead after a van failed to stop at a light and collided with another car, according to a spokesman from the Washington State Patrol.
The victims have been identified as Vernal Morris, 80, and Mae Helland, 82, of Napavine.
The driver, Clifford Petersen, 81, of the van sustained major injuries and he was taken by helicopter to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
