A two truck was pulling another car on Highway 92 near Lake Stevens when it was hit by a van. The Sunday collision sent the tow truck and the car behind it flying into a ditch, according to a spokesman from the Washington State Patrol.
The driver of the van was a 46-year-old Everett man who was turning onto westbound Highway 92 from 99th Avenue NE at about 10:25 a.m. The man turned and hit the truck which was headed west on Highway 92.
The driver of the pickup was a 28-year-old Everett man, who was sent through a guardrail along with his truck and the car that it was towing. The truck came to rest on its roof in a ditch just beyond the rail.
Rescue crews took the two men to the Colby campus of Providence Medical Center in Everett. Doctors have not released their conditions.
The driver of the van is being held responsible for causing the accident, according to as spokesman for the Washington State Patrol.
