Man Runover By Co-worker While Inspecting Trucks

A 51-year-old man was killed at work after he was run over by his co-worker in Fife.

The two men were working on inspecting semi-trailers at their workplace, Bartleson Transport Inc., located in the 4600 block of 20th St. East in Edgewood.

The incident occurred around 9 a.m. on Tuesday after his co-worker thought the man had completed his inspection. The co-worker, thinking the man was no longer under the truck, drove the truck over the man's body.

The man was taken to St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, where he was pronounced dead.

The identity of the man has not been released pending notification of his family.
