Two Hurt In School Bus Accident

Two people were injured in an accident involving a car and a school bus about 10 miles north of Olympia late Thursday afternoon.

The accident happened around 4:30 p.m. on Woodard Bay Road when a car crossed the center line and hit the driver's side of the school bus.

Two dozen students from South Bay Elementary School were on board. One student was taken to the hospital with a head injuries. The driver of the car also was hospitalized.

The cause of the accident is being investigated.
