Seattle Police Seek Hit-And-Run Driver

July 25, 2005

Police are looking for an SUV driver who walked away from a collision that seriously injured a father and his toddler son.

John Hatch, along with sons Jason and Carson, were traveling in a Geo Prism, when they were hit by a Chevy Suburban, on South 206th Street in Kent, Washington.

The SUV flipped, crushing the roof of the Prism. Jason was in the car but escaped injury. Hutch's friends are caring for him and trying to raise money to help the family.

Witnesses said the SUV driver was a woman with a dog, who walked away from the accident. Police said the car did not belong to her.
