A traffic accident involving two pickup trucks in South Seattle Friday killed one person and sent two others to the hospital.
The accident occurred in the 4700 block of East Marginal Way South at 12:45 p.m., when a Chevy pickup driving northbound veered into the center lane, Seattle police said.
The Chevy pickup collided with a Ford pickup head-on, killing the driver of the Chevy, an adult male.
A passenger in that vehicle, an adult female, was hospitalized with a hip injury.
The driver of the Ford, an adult male, was also hospitalized, with a back injury.
