Man Killed In Crash With Semi
January 31, 2006
A 20 year old man died Monday when he lost control of his Honda convertible, crossed the centerline and hit a semi-tractor trailer outside Seattle.
The man, who suffered multiple injuries to his head and body in the impact, died instantly, Auburn police said.
A 27-year-old man driving the semi was taken to Auburn Regional Medical Center for rib pain. The truck driver was in stable condition, police said.
Witnesses told police the Honda was headed northbound at high speed. The driver of the Honda was trapped inside the car and had to be extricated. His identity was not available.
